There is now an additional cable clamping unit available for the M17 cable connectors and cable connecting receptacles for cable diameters ranging from 10 mm to 12.5 mm. With this, the M17 connectors now reliably accommodate cables with diameters of 5 mm to 12.5 mm.

Thanks to their very compact design, M17 connectors are a space-saving solution for the electric connection of smaller devices or under cramped installation conditions. With the additional cable clamping unit, there is now an extended product range available for signal or power transmission.

Thanks to its very compact design, M17 receptacles are a space-saving solution for the electrical connection of smaller drive units or for electrical connections in confined installation situations. The M17 range for signal or power applications (ST/P20 series) has been expanded accordingly for adaptation to the respective application. Now there is a variant with larger mounting holes available. The angled rotary receptacles, with flange dimensions of 25 mm x 25 mm, are now also available with 4 holes (Ø 3.2 mm) for M3 mounting screws. This way, interchageability on motor drilling patterns with the classical M23 receptacle is possible.

CONINVERS carries crimping pliers in their product range which have digital displays for processing machined contacts for connection cross sections from 0.08 mm² to 10 mm². These crimping tools are now additionally equipped with wear monitoring. The user can call up the current tool status on the display. If the tool wear has exceeded a defined range, an error message appears. This new function further increases the process reliability. The crimping tools (depending on the model) will be delivered with the new wear monitoring starting in July 2010.

The housing has a central M20 x 1.5 fastening thread, so that the receptacle can be screwed into the mounting panel from the outside. A sealed hexagon nut is included in delivery for countering. The receptacle is then ideally suited for positioned installation, e.g. for angled mating connectors.
