  New ConPower feedback connectors
  M23 feedback connectors ConPower F30

The circular connectors of the ConPower F30 series belong to the class of M23 feedback or signal connectors. In the field of electrical drive components, they represent the functional supplement of the power connectors. For transmitting electrical feedback signals, these connectors are available with 12 or 17 positions.

Main application cases of the ConPower F30 feedback connectors are connections of control units with electrical drives. The basic program with metallic housings is adjusted to feedback applications in the field of electrical drive engineering.

  For accomplishing the cable assembly as easy as possible, shield and cable clamp have been developed completely new. Now, the entire functional unit only consists of the cable clamp type cage with gasket O-ring and cable seal as well as a simple shield sleeve. The customer only needs to handle 2 parts.
The advantage is that the shield must be spliced only slightly. This saves time. Depending on its thickness, the shield can easily be everted backwards and processed without shorting it. The cable can be dismantled large-scaled, i.e. without verifying the measurements. With a cable diameter of maximally 13 mm (shielded), the cable clamping range is dimensioned large-scaled.


In addition, the insulating bodies are affected by the improvements (they can pick up 1 mm male contacts as well as female contacts per pin assignment), and the type of contact locking in the contact insert. First, the contacts are clipped in sideways. After inserting the contact insert, the insulating body sleeve is locked by turning it right-handed. The sleeve of the insulating body is coded by means of a coding bar. Furthermore, additional coding options can be realized, e.g. with two coding bars for 0° and +/-20°.
The imprint of the insulating body is done individually by a laser marking on the front side as well as in each contact chamber. This simplifies assembly and avoids wrong assignments.
The known CONINVERS contact pins and sockets with additional spring and the wire spring contacts can also be used for the ConPower F30 program. For applications requiring very high insertion/withdrawal cycles, the feedback connectors can also be equipped with the punched-rolled C-HC female contacts. The 1 mm version of these contacts cover crimp ranges from 0.08 mm² up to 0.56 mm²
